The fruit trees are yours to enjoy - apples, pears, nashi, peaches, plums, figs, oranges, tangerines, mandarins, kumquats, buddha hand, lemons, limes, arbutus and more. Untreated and thriving, they offer fresh, seasonal fruit you can pick straight from the branch and eat on the spot — no washing, no waiting. And if you happen to arrive during fig season… well, prepare to fall in love. Because true luxury is choosing your fig: sweeter or tangier, candy-like or earthy, one from this tree, two from another, then circling back to a hidden branch you missed. It’s in that moment — standing barefoot in the orchard, tasting the difference between trees — that you’ll understand why we have opposing thumbs. And let's not forget the oranges and mandarins in winter time!

If cooking isn’t on your agenda, you’ll find honest, hearty meals nearby for around €7.50 — soup, main course, wine or water, and espresso included. For a special dinner (or any dinner, really), even the finest restaurant in the area rarely exceeds €30 with drinks.
Prefer to cook? Help yourself to wild rosemary and mint growing freely around the house — available year-round to elevate your dishes. And if you’re craving something truly memorable, we can arrange a private chef to cook for you at home. Or take a short 20-minute drive to a Michelin-starred restaurant that blends local tradition with culinary artistry.
