We had a wonderful stay at Cátia and Rui’s studio! The apartment is thoughtfully designed, making excellent use of the space and providing everything needed for a comfortable short-term stay. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into every detail.
Cátia and Rui were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and always happy to help with any questions or recommendations. They made our first month in Porto feel easy and stress-free.
The studio is located with the city center just a short trip away. While Porto’s buses can sometimes be a bit unpredictable, there are several nearby metro stations that make getting around the city quick and easy.
Neighborhood
The neighborhood might not make the best first impression, but after living there for a month, we felt quite safe.
We had a wonderful stay at Cátia and Rui’s studio! The apartment is thoughtfully designed, making excellent use of the space and providing everything needed for a comfortable short-term stay. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into every detail.

Neighborhood
The neighborhood might not make the best first impression, but after living there for a month, we felt quite safe.
The stay itself was pleasant. Cátia is the most pleasant host I've met, she contacted me in advance and was ready to help at any step of the way.
The apartment comes with nuances that not necessarily need fixing, it's just something that should be taken into consideration before booking. It's pretty dim inside , though the front and the only window panel is huge, it doesn't give the apartment any light and lacks privacy in some way. The biggest issue was with bathroom dwellers, occasional bugs and especially ants. Ants were everywhere at some point and it was difficult to get rid of them, even though the apartment had a insect repellent installed. Probably that has to do with the ground floor location and the damp season.
Despite some minor flaws, I really liked the flow of the apartment. The way it's pretty convertible for working, resting or hosting board games nights or dinners for a group of 4. The location is not central, but it has nice public transport access and is in walkable distance to the ocean. There are corner shops, cafes and a shopping center nearby. All in all it was quite serene.

There is a Jamor bakery in 3mins walk from the apartment. It has the best pastels and cutest little mice-shaped desserts. Norte Shopping is by far the best shopping getaway in the city

Great value for money. Apartment is great and the host is super helpful and responsive. Location is not central and the metro is far but there are few parks just around.

I had an excellent experience with Catia and Rui. The host was incredibly kind and attentive to any issue that came up during my stay. They responded very quickly to all my questions and made sure everything was in order. The customer service was exceptional, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to others, and I hope to return in the future. Thank you for everything!

Very nice landlords, loved the communication but the apartment has zero sound isolation from the rest of the house where they live so you can hear everything when someone comes down or back home. Nice bed and kitchen, shower and restroom in general not so much - each time you take a shower the floor gets really wet and if you are 160+ cm shaving and using the mirror is a pain because you need to crouch + it's pretty dark even with all the lights on. Overall for short time rent good place but if you need something for long term you will get the feeling you're living in someones basement/room for a pretty hight price (with service fee I payed over 1300 euro for 31 day). Metro is 15-20 minutes walk, neighbourhood is let's say not the best but ok and even though there is a place you can do laundry nearby, again, it's just a pain to spent time and 10 euro each week additionally considering the price of the studio itself IMO. Owner said the main issue with sound isolation from rest of the house is something they plan to fix but until then it is what it is.
