This spacious upper-floor flat in São Jacinto (Aveiro), upgraded in 2022, features high-speed internet / WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower / bath tub, and a view of the lagoon (Ria de Aveiro) from the small balcony.

PLEASE NOTE: While you'll be close to nature, this apartment is located almost half an hour from downtown Aveiro and its university campus. The quaint fishing community of São Jacinto, while technically a part of the city of Aveiro, is connected by car ferry (15 minutes) and bus - with WiFi - with downtown Aveiro across the lagoon. The ferry runs from early in the morning until late at night. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach downtown Aveiro.

Casa dos Jacintos is located in a building next to the Ria de Aveiro waterfront, near restaurants, cafés, and the ferry terminal. Foodies will love the fresh seafood on offer at the village's restaurants. São Jacinto is famous for its seafood.

SAFETY & PRIVACY: We value and respect the privacy of our guests. For added security, security cameras are installed and active 24/7 OUTSIDE the apartment for external monitoring of the entry/exit points of the property. We recommend that you do not book this flat if you are not comfortable with this precaution.

The spectacular beaches of the São Jacinto Dunes Natural Reserve are in walking distance, making this condo an ideal getaway for extended active vacations or digital nomad work-ations.

I've lived and studied abroad, most recently as an Erasmus student. Now back in my hometown, next to one of Europe's largest protected lagoons and marshlands, the Ria de Aveiro, and close to the Natural Reserve of the São Jacinto Dunes and the spectacular (Blue Flag-awarded) Praia de São Jacinto (the "house beach" of Aveiro). Did I mention Aveiro's vibrant mix of vibrant of science, technology, and culture? How lucky am I to call this place home! I have found that my guests come to São Jacinto to enjoy an undisturbed time out or workation stay in a (very) quiet place close to nature, away from it all, yet with convenient access to downtown Aveiro and the university campus if and when they feel like it or need to attend in-person meetings. Most of my renters from abroad value their privacy. That said, I live nearby and am available (preferred: messaging/email using the contact information on this platform) to answer questions they may have.
