Online agreement in your language. The basis is an agreement concluded in the language of the place of the lease, but the agreement is always translated into English and the most frequently used languages. The agreement is always signed online, so you can conclude it wherever you are in the world.
Guarantee of a trustworthy presentation of the apartment. With Flatio, you may rest assured the apartment looks exactly as presented. And if, by any chance, the condition of the apartment does not match the description in the listing, we will refund your full rent and fees and give you 7 days of free hotel rooms.
Comfortable extension. Do you want to stay longer in the apartment? No problem. If the owner confirms the apartment is available for you, you will extend the agreement online. Similarly, an agreement may be terminated with a simple 30-day notice, once again, online.
All-inclusive price. The rent includes all services, including utilities and Wi-Fi, and it is not charged unless it exceeds 15 % of the rent. This saves you a lot of paperwork at the time of the apartment handover. If a property does not offer Wi-Fi, it is clearly indicated on the listing page.

Take photos of the apartment. We recommend that you take photos showing the current condition of the apartment on the first and the last day of the lease and send the pictures to us. The photos, along with a signed handover report, will be of great assistance when dealing with any unpleasant situations we hope will never occur.

The family are the sweetest neighbors, incredibly helpful, and they made us feel truly at home through their kindness and thoughtful gestures.
The area itself is nice and feels local, but you’ll need to head a bit farther out for groceries and restaurants. Having a car is strongly recommended (there is parking at the apartment!). It’s about a 20-minute walk down to town — it’s steep, but that’s pretty much the case everywhere:) Buses also stop close by!
Maura and her family are so generous and loving, we felt like being part of the family.
The apartment is super spacious and bright - it is very well equipped and the location is very quiet (just some dogs barking now and then). The street is very steep and to walk to the center, especially the way back up, requires good fitness. Little issues we had during our stay, where solved immediatley by the landlord.
We already planned to come back, because we totally fell in love with Madeira.

It's right under the cablecar. Since the street is very steep and narrow, there's almost no traffic, which is great. All neighbors are super friendly and kind.
Monte Palace Garden
The neighbourhood is with locals and it is quiet. It is about 15 mins walking distance from the city center and restaurants, bars, shops. The property sits on a steep hill, so if you have walking/climbing restrictions, you might wanna look for something else. But this is realy a nuance, the property is otherwise located in a beautiful setting.
