It is a very nice traditional house with a view to the ocean. Only 10 minutes walk to bathing zones. There is enough room for a family of four. The kids were exploring the garden with banana plants and a fig tree. Concerning location: Sao Joao is a very peaceful tiny village where you can live the silence. There is only one mini market available only 10 minutes walk from the house. For all the other targets you definitely need a car. We enjoyed our stay a month long, and i could also work in Home office using the Starlink internet which was pretty fast.
The host is very responsive and ready to help.

Very silent village. no crowds. village ambience. Spectacular views on the ocean.

in the community there is almost nothing to see, but there are a couple of bathing zones (Zona Balnear das Arinhas, Zona Balnear Ponta do Admoiro) which a very nice. you can also go there in the night to see the stars. The lights on the streets are very bright, so you need to search dark places for star gazing.
