Astoria Tiny Apartment Studio in Downtown Budapest

I had an amazing 9 months in this apartment. I had never been to Hungary and did not know any Hungarian but this was not an issue at all. It was stocked with everything I could ever have needed. Cleaning supplies, charging block, and a good amount of cooking supplies for such a compact kitchen.
Above all I was impressed with the hosts. They were kind and supportive throughout. When the Internet was having issues they stayed on company until it was fixed. Any issues I had were immediately resolved, including when the elevator broke the night before I moved out. I was incredibly impressed and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is the perfect apartment for a solo traveler looking for a long term stay or a couple for a few weeks.

Neighborhood
Transportation Heart of the city and really easy to get to anywhere you need.
A heads up for solo women travelers, as with anywhere you stay, definitely be mindful. There is two sets of doors with pin codes, however the main ones are open on weekdays during business hours for businessea. I had a few sketchy people around the area but I was never bothered. Just something to be mindful of. The apartment itself has two doors, a grated one and a regular one and I felt completely safe inside. The area is the perfect location to have access to public transportation and food. But with any city just be aware.

I lived in this wonderful apartment as a student for 5 months. Everything was fine, the owner always responded quickly and offered help if needed. The apartment is spacious, very bright, there is a grate on the window to the courtyard, there is all the cleaning equipment and everything you need, even including a thread and needle. Also there is a really nice view from the window, with good sound insulation though. I was happy with the time I spent in this apartment!

Neighborhood
The area is very convenient, everything is nearby. Transport accessibility is excellent - all three metro lines are literally a 3-7 minute walk

The accommodation is exactly as described and the check in process was very easy. Klara very quickly addressed one maintenance issue that happened during my stay. I had no other problems during my stay, and I would stay here or at another of her properties again.

Neighborhood
It has both tourists and locals and is close to a huge number of restaurants and shops. There are at least 4 grocery stores within close walking distance. The unit faces the main street, so there can be street noise when the windows are open, but it is quiet when they are closed.

I stayed for one month in May/June. Great location. A 10-minute walk to everything you need. Klara was easy to deal with. Check-in / out was very easy. She always responded quickly to inquiries. Very professional. The apartment was presented as advertised. Very clean and tidy. Always hot water whenever you needed it. There is a very good heat / air conditioning unit. The apartment gets lots of daylight and sunshine! Good location on a busy main street, but with the soundproof windows closed, it was very quiet inside. Always a good quiet sleep. Plenty of linens and blankets provided. There is an in-suite washing machine for convenience, and a drying rack and ironing board - but I was surprised there was no iron which would be helpful for long stays. The kitchen had most of the basics items for a long stay, including an oven, if you wanted to prepare some daily meals in the apartment. Note, there is no toaster or microwave which would be helpful for long stays. The other residents in the building were friendly and the building is well maintained by the building manager. As a tour manager, I stay in many rentals each year - this my my best experience.

Neighborhood
5-10 minute walk to buses, trams and Metro. Supermarkets, Old Market Hall, 24-hour supermarkets, fast food, pubs, cafes, ATM, Discount Stores. A 7-minute tram ride and you arrive to Deák Ferenc tér.

Raday Ut for cafes, bars, restaurants. Great Market hall. Museum across the street. Irish Bar. Kalvin Ter Kabob. Pasta Point. All the cafes and restaurants along Kecskemeti ut. Special mention for a great bakery cafe on Kecskemeti ut. called NOR/MA.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The location is unbeatable, with plenty of amazing restaurants, cafés, and shops just a short walk away. Public transportation is also incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the city.

The apartment itself is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. From kitchen essentials to modern appliances, everything was thoughtfully provided. The space was clean, stylish, and felt like a home away from home.

Communication with the property owner was excellent. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the area!

Neighborhood
The neighborhood is fantastic—very safe and perfect for exploring Budapest. It’s within walking distance of many must-see attractions, making it an ideal location for sightseeing. The famous ruin bars, along with plenty of great restaurants and cafés, are just a short stroll away, giving you endless options for dining and nightlife.

While there is some noise from the main road, the double-pane windows do an excellent job of blocking it out once closed, so it never became an issue. Overall, the area is lively, convenient, and a great base for experiencing everything Budapest has to offer!

Szépen berendezett, jól felszerelt, kényelmes kis lakás. Kifejzetten tetszett a jó lokáció, és a kilátás a Nemzeti Múzeumra.

A lakás nagyon jó helyen van, sajnos pont ezért hangos, bár arról a bérbeadó nem tehet. A mikrót és a kenyérpiritót hiányoltam egyedül a berendezések közül. A Wifi jól működöt, nem volt vele gond.

Neighborhood
Sok a hajléktalan, este sok fura alak mászkál, de nem vészes. Éttermek a Kálvinon és a Körúton remekek, az Aldi 600 m-re van.
