However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

Diana was very very helpful and responsive whenever I had any questions about the place or the city. I didn't get to meet her as her friend checked me in but she was always available on the phone whenever required. She was very welcoming and went out of her way to make my stay in the city comfortable.
The place was very clean and spotless. It had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The house is located at a walkable distance to all the major tourist attractions of Porto but in a very quiet street. The place smelled amazing with all the room fresheners kept in every area of the house. It was too cold to use the swimming pool but it would be a great place in the summer.
I highly recommend staying at her place and would choose to stay there in future. Thank you Diana for all your help.
