Large windows, open views over the city and Vraca park, and natural light throughout the day. This is a place designed for staying a few months, not a few nights.

WORK
A dedicated workspace that fits two people comfortably, with stable 350 Mbps Wi-Fi for video calls, VPN and deep focus. Plenty of power outlets and excellent daylight.

EVERYDAY LIVING
The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking, not just reheating — oven, hotplate, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Washer and dryer in the unit; the dryer matters in a Sarajevo winter. Air conditioning in both the bedroom and the open-plan living area, central heating throughout, elevator to the 9th floor, and a comfortable queen bed.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
All utilities — electricity, heating, water and the 350 Mbps internet — are included, along with one professional cleaning per month. Additional cleaning can be arranged on request.

PARKING
Free parking in three options right around the building: street parking, the building's own lot, and a large public parking area nearby. No fees, no permits.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Grbavica is one of Sarajevo's most practical neighbourhoods. Tram stops, supermarkets, bakeries, cafés and gyms are all within walking distance, and the riverside walking path starts at the door. The city centre is a short tram ride away. Quiet in the evenings.

WHO IT SUITS
Remote workers and digital nomads · researchers, correspondents and consultants on assignment · couples and solo travellers · anyone who needs a real desk, fast internet and daylight for a few months.

The apartment sleeps up to 3 — a queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Smoke and CO detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit are in the flat. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.

Welcome package

The apartment is cleaned and ready before you arrive, with fresh bedding and towels made up for you.

On arrival we hand over the keys in person and show you the essentials — heating and air conditioning in both rooms, the washer and dryer, the kitchen appliances, and where the three free parking options around the building are. Wi-Fi details (350 Mbps) are left for you in the flat.

Basic supplies are there to get you started: toilet paper, soap and cleaning supplies. Everything else you need for daily cooking is already in the kitchen — oven, hotplate, microwave, dishwasher, and full sets of pots, pans, dishes and cutlery.

We are reachable by message throughout your stay and happy to help with anything about the flat or the city. Once a month a professional cleaning is included, arranged at a time that suits you.

We're Semir and Elvira, and we host this apartment together. It's our own flat in Grbavica — not a managed rental. We've been hosting for two years, and most of our guests stay for weeks or months rather than a couple of nights. That has taught us what actually matters for a longer stay: a real desk, internet that holds up on video calls, a kitchen you can properly cook in, laundry you don't have to leave the flat for, and quiet in the evenings. Between us we speak English, and Elvira also speaks Spanish and German. Our first language is Bosnian, which isn't on Flatio's list. We answer messages quickly, usually within the hour. We're happy to help with the practical side of settling into Sarajevo — where to shop, which tram to take, how the paperwork works — but we don't hover. You'll have the whole apartment to yourself.
