I stayed here for a month in August, and it was truly a wonderful experience! The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures, and the building itself is modern and clean with two elevators as well as stairs. The apartment is very well equipped – you’ll find everything you need for cooking (pots and pans in different sizes, toaster, mixer, strainer, etc.), and also for laundry (washing machine and drying rack). The location is amazing: the city center is just a 10-minute walk away, and there are bus stops nearby (for example on Rua 31 de Janeiro). Right next to the apartment (just 1 minute away) is the beautiful Jardim de Santa Luzia, perfect for a relaxing moment after a long day. My personal favorite, Jardim Municipal do Funchal, is also just a few minutes walk away. Another huge advantage is the garage right under the apartment, included in the price. The neighbors are very quiet – I didn’t hear a single noise during the whole month! If you leave the window open at dawn you may hear birds, but that’s just part of the charm of Madeira. The balcony is also bigger than it looks in the photos and separated from the neighbors’, which made it feel private and comfortable. Jessica, the host, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She responds quickly and shared excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit (I tried several and really enjoyed them!). When my arrival was delayed due to weather conditions and my flight was rescheduled, she immediately adjusted and came to hand over the keys when I arrived. The same happened when my departure flight was delayed – she kindly allowed me to stay until 5 PM. Overall, I felt very safe and comfortable here (as a woman traveling solo), and I would definitely stay again! :)

The apartment was fine, in great condition after the renovation works. However the works in the common areas of the building are still undergoing and that impacts the overall experience of the stay. Otherwise, all good, a quiet and sunny time at Bica.

Very attentive

We had a great 1-month stay at Tiago's apartment. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. And the building itself isn't too far from the city center. Also, Tiago was nice and responsive. The only improvement I would suggest is adding more kitchen appliances.

Laura was a very kind and helpful host. The apartment is perfectly located in the very center of the city and is very cosy. The thing to bear in mind is that it has no AC, so it can get quite hot during the summer months, especially during the day, but luckily temperatures go down noticeably during the night in Budapest, so it's ok to sleep. It is also quite an old apartment, but for those who like vintage things it adds to the charm. Overall I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to others.

Alba is a very kind and wonderful person. The apartment is beautiful, in an excellent location. I lived there for three months and truly enjoyed my stay.

Ilona was a very helpful and efficient host. Available whenever we needed her. The apartment was perfect, the area close to all amenities: transport, grocery stores (Lidl, Aldi, Tesco, etc.), cafes and restaurants. 10-15 minutes from Astoria on foot and 3 minutes by bus. Comfortable apartment with 2 bedrooms + 2 other large beds, in a secure residence. With all the necessary amenities (kitchen, TV, etc., internet). Superb stay thanks to Ilona.

The ocean view apartment was a fantastic place to stay. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the large pool was the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the Atlantic.

Nice location - the metro is right in front of the entrance to the building, making it possible to reach the city center in just a couple of minutes. If you prefer walking, it'll take 15 minutes. The apartment has everything you need for living, with the host being available in case of need. Thank you for your hospitality.

Amazing apartment and the communication with the host couldn’t have been better! The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and I had a great time there. With a washing machine, it would be absolutely perfect!

Very good location, perfect apartment for two People, near metro and in the city center. The host replied really quick to our messages and answered all our questions, also the garden with the table is a plus especially for summer.

Nice apartment, nice walk to the Cascais Mercado, Pingo Doce is close. Cheap taxi to get anywhere. Few hikes near the building. Owner is always available, everything works as expected in the apartment.

Ficamos por 21 dias na acomodação. A Eliska é muito gentil e foi fácil se comunicar com ela! Obrigada por toda receptividade. O apartamento fica na mesma rua da estação de metrô e ônibus, sem dúvidas a locomoção pela cidade foi muito fácil e é acessível chegar em todos os lugares rapidamente. Também fica próxima a restaurantes legais, cafés, parques, academia, etc. O local é bem iluminado e arejado, é uma ótima acomodação para duas pessoas e sem dúvidas a máquina de lavar roupas e louça foram muito úteis.
