The neighbours kept taking pictures of us? Also they wanted to sign us an list with all there belongings with prices of the items on it. I refused to sign as most of the items are a bit older already and a lot is damaged. Took photo's as soon I moved in just in case.

Here are a few positive aspects: - washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, fridge, internet/router are available and o.k. - for digital nomads: Internet connection was relatively stable, not superfast but 70MBit downstream is enough for most applications. I used MS Teams and several on premise applications without any big trouble. - TV with Netflix (you need your own account) is available - but who wants to watch TV in Madeira? - parking lot in the underground car park (outside it's hard to get a parking lot and the terrain is very steep) - The apartment has a garden and is big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. And here is the list of negative aspects (from my point of view): Issues the landlord can change: - furnishing: very worn couches in the livingroom (don't look underneath the blankets!) - bathroom furniture is also worn out - beds: the bed in the parents bedroom is (at its best) 140cm wide and the single beds in the other bedroom are very narrow too (ok for children, but not really for adults). The bed wobbles and gives a cheap impression. - a broom to clean the terrace is missing - many of the dishes are broken (mugs, drinking glasses, toothbrush mugs ...) and need urgent replacement - the barbecue was disgusting, used coal inside and the grills were rusty and dirty (old burnt meat or fish sticked on the grills) - the apartment was not really cleaned very well. ants in the kitchen, dust and cobwebs on the walls. Issues the landlord can not change but are also good to know: - good ear plugs are obligatory - the apartment is very clairaudient - noise pollution because of yapping dogs, everywhere and every time (day and night) - squeaky tires and car exhaust because of the adjacent basement garage summary: This apartment is not good value for money and gives the impression of poorly maintainance.

The flat is good and the room is big. But the window was broken so I was caught with a cold the whole winter. The landlord didn't do anything to fix it. The communication was terrible, when I asked about the window they left me on read for 4 days so I had to insist but they told me it was normal to be sick during the winter... No it's not ! The window didn't close properly and the cold air kept coming inside ! Sometimes they asked me to be home in 1 or 2 hours to welcome every roommate when they arrived, which I did to be nice but is not normal and happened all the time. And when I left, it was sooner than planned so I asked if I could be refunded for the 2 additional weeks but they refused. The shower was also clogged all the time, the interphone didn't work, the floor of the kitchen is dirty but impossible to wash. To sum up, the room is good but the price is high considering these problems and the fact that you have to cross another room to access it.

The condition of the apartment is new, with a very good design renovation. But the humidity of the air is not suitable for me, for health reasons.

Pros: + Very good location if your aim is the attractions of Funchal. + The apartment is clean and recently renovated. + Both bedrooms have air conditioning. + The internet was working fine (30 Mbps) Cons: - Very uncomfortable and small beds. - Poor soundproofing, so you will be woken up every morning (6/7 AM) by a loud sound from the restaurant downstairs. - Large kitchen, but the fridge is very small and you can only cook on a small hob and microwave. Very few kitchen equipment and utensils. - The whole apartment is cheaply furnished, so be prepared for a lot of things to break (be sure to let the hosts know and they will sort it out) Recommendation: I think this apartment would be good for a single parent with 1/2 children or two friends. LANDLORD'S REPLY: Thanks for your valid comments. We have now installed a small oven in the flat, and as we are always trying to improve the flat, we will be looking into getting a better mattress in due course. Many thanks.

The accommodation was not quite as described. The bench in the living room was very dirty, the "bed" excessively uncomfortable with missing slats. The curtain was torn and let in all the light. There was only hot water for a short shower.

This house is best for a short beach holiday, not for remote working. You will be 9 minutes walking from a nice beach, you can also get some rays on the deck. However, you can hear clearly everything the neighbour's do and say which quicky becomes very unrestful and a privacy nightmare. Forget it if you are a light sleeper. Also, the room does not have a window, it is a door that leads to a tool shed that has a door to the exterior. The owner is an inexperienced host which can lead to odd situations such as, the house not being properly cleanned when I checked-in, trying that I sign a document upon arrival about the state of the house that clearly did not correspond to the actual state of the house as well as trying to mainly communicate outside of the Flatio communication channels and becoming frustrated because I did not pickup the phone.. As my situation was remote working, overrall it was not a pleasant stay for me.

The house had many structural problems, it needs some renovations. The landlord always handed what we asked for, but in the end it was difficult to correct some troubles with the house. The people that came to fix something don't speak english so it was difficult to understand them. The building of the house didn't get clean over 3 months and need some repairs. But overall the landlord did very weel her job!

When I arrived, I was accommodated not in the apartment I was booking, but in another. It is smaller in size and is designed not for 6 people, but for 3. It was stated that the apartment has a TV, but there was not even a TV. When I told about it, I was promised to bring a TV, but no one brought anything. The apartment was dirty and not cleaned. Trash full bucket and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I had to clean everything myself. Towels were given only on the second day only after I asked for towels. When I drove into the apartment, no one handed it to me, only the keys were given. And when I was leaving, an employee came and started looking for various damages. He took pictures and said that after me there were some injuries on the floor and on the bed, but they were there. Take photos of all the damage as soon as you enter the apartment, so that later you are not blamed for what was damaged long ago. The rental price is very high, and the service and the apartment itself is at a very low level.When I drove into the apartment, no one handed it to me, only the keys were given. I lived on Krizikova 65 from 01/04/22 to 01/05/22 and when we left the apartment, we forgot our little bag with all money, that we have. The bag was in a little bedside table and we and we realized that we forgot the bag the next day. I know that the apartment was only the owner Martin and, as he said, cleaning. The apartment was empty for another 4 days because my friends are moving in there in 4 days. Martin met me the next day at the apartment, opened it, and we found that our bag was missing. I said that I would go to the police, because there was a large amount of money. In addition, I demanded the cleaning number, which was here. Martin said that he would deal with everything himself and call me in 2 hours. An hour later, Martin called me and said that I was "lucky" because my bag was found. He said to come in 2 hours to their office. I came to their office, there were 6 or 8 employees. They made a "performance" with the transfer of my bag so that there were witnesses. Martin said that another woman found my bag - someone gave her. But all the words seemed strange, because before the story was different. I thanked, shook hands, and left. When I went out and started counting the money, it turned out that 200 dollars, 300 euros, 1,000 crowns and 1,500 hryvnias had been stolen from me. I wrote to Martin that I will not go to the police, but I will leave feedback on how it was. In response, he said that it was not his fault and he would be very upset, and the person who "stole" my bag had already been fired! Although before that he did not say anything like that and the story was completely different. I don't know who is right and who is wrong. Perhaps Martin is the person who saved my bag and gave me back some of my money. I hope so. But then the company he works for are thieves. It is possible that the cleaning service stole the money - but I don't believe on it. They know that I am from Ukraine and that there is a war going on in our country. But they still wanted to steal some of the money from me in order to "make money on the mountain." Nobody told me about my bag. If I had not personally contacted and said that I would go to the police, I would never have known that I lost money in their apartment. Be careful with these people. Someone from this company can rob you.

This accommodation did not have all the necessary equipment, it is marked on the advert for 8 people only we were 4 and that was just right. There were major problems with the upstairs neighbour, the owner did little to change this.

Internet no working well and i neeeded for working. Is a kaos.

Owner is pleasant lady, communication on good level (still she is not english speaking, you need to speak Czech). Appartment is very economy level, very old furniture, also was not really clean inside (dust, dirty foolrs), sofa which they have in living room very old and with a lot of stains :( Still, price not so high and location quite good, so for 2-3 night stopover, still is a good option.

Communication with the landlord was fast and professional. Unfortunately, the flat was not what I was expecting from the photos. It is quite clean and has new furniture, location is also good. However, it is a basement flat which wasn't clearly stated in the description. The ventilation in the flat is not great and because of that there is not much of fresh air. There is one window on the street level, but opening it doesn't help much with the smell. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you don't mind living in the basement- underground.

Location is perfect, however the flat is quite old (furniture, equpiment - for example the table was almost falling apart). We were also not perfectly happy with the cleanliness.

We stayed 3 months at Lisbon Oasis, beginning of 2022. The apartment is well located and nicely furnished. We however had issues due to the Internet connection that has been really poor during half of our stay (6 weeks with less than 10kgb speed). We had to follow up several times with the owner asking for support and resolution and even had to escalate with Flatio Customer Service team to get follow up and answers. After weeks of back and forth, the owner finally took the step to install a high speed internet with a better router. This all situation generated high frustration from our side as we didn't felt much willingness from the owner to support + this generated extra costs to pay for a co-working space with a stable internet connection. So we would not recommend to book in case you wish to stay there on mid-term renting.

This apartment is in such an excellent location, it's really a shame the landlords do not act ethically and also a shame they don't do some very simple things to make the apartment more livable. Very shortly after signing the contract with Flatio the landlords contacted me and asked for a deposit and cleaning fees, both of which were specifically not included in the contract. They pushed, but finally backed down after Flatio talked to them. When the day of departure approached, they asked me what time I was leaving, and when I said around 16:00 (contract states you have the apartment until 17:00), they claimed check out was 11:00, and they had someone else moving in at 16:00. Completely irresponsible and unethical to promise someone a checkin before the previous tenant's contract has expired. They once again backed down when I pointed this out. If you still want to stay here, note there is absolutely no closet space, no wardrobes and no chest of drawers. Apparently they expect people to live out of their suitcases. The apartment is spacious, and each bedroom could have either a wardrobe or chest of drawers if they would just spend a few euros. Also note the shower does not work the way it should, and they were informed of this by a maintenance person three weeks ago and as of the time of my leaving had not done anything about it. Despite the excellent location I would not deal with these people again.

The room is really excellent. It is spacious and very cozy. You can stay there long hours (I work from home) and do not feel suffocated like you would with smaller, darker rooms. Although the room faces opposite to the sun, it is very bright and the view is quite pretty! There are drawers and hangers for your clothes, a cozy sofa and a TV, and the landlord provided me with a Chromecast to watch Netflix and others. However, the other rooms in the flat really fall short. The toilet is very small. The kitchen is quite old. There is barely any space to store food. The fridge is smaller than you would expect, still, you only have a small space to store your food. And basically, not many drawers left to keep everything else that does not go in the fridge. I would advise renting a room in this flat for a short period but not for a medium\longer stay. For those visiting Prague, it is not very close to the central areas. You would have to take the tram and travel around 30 min to get to Old Town Square. However, Vinohrady and other cool areas are close by, and it is a different, more local experience of Prague.

Mariana is a really kind person, who seems always ready to help people around us and with which you can have a nice conversation easily if you want to. About the place, the room was really big with a lot of space and colorful. However, when it cold outside, it really is inside too and there is no heather or anything to warm the place. Also, there is not a lot of cooking equipments (there is no microwave or oven), only a hob. Concerning the private bathroom, it is not what you imagine when you think about a bathroom. Indeed, the toilet and the small sink are inside the shower. Furthermore, the pipes are a bit clogged and there is nothing to preclude the water to flood the kitchen when you take your shower so you need to take it really fast. For all those reasons I am really sorry to rate the place so poorly, but I really think that you can find a better place cheaper and that some things need to be fixed. I tried to be as honest as I could and I am sorry Mariana because you were a really sweet person.
